内容提要：
According to Leo Strauss, who was among the most influential political philosophers of the 20th century, the central question is what he called the theological-political problem. I want to propose that, although on any number of occasions Strauss references technology, he did not sufficiently appreciate how the theological-political problem has mutated into a technological-political problem.
主讲人简介：
卡尔·米切姆（Carl Mitcham，1941–），美国技术哲学家，柯罗拉多矿业学院荣休教授、中国人民大学国际访问教授。主编有《哲学与技术：技术的哲学问题读本》（与Robert Mackey合作，Philosophy and Technology: Readings in the Philosophical Problems of Technology, 1972）、《西班牙语国家的技术哲学》（Philosophy of Technology in Spanish Countries, 1993）、4卷本《科学、技术与伦理学百科全书》（Encyclopedia of Science, Technology, and Ethics, 2005）。著作有《通过技术思考：工程与哲学之间的道路》（Thinking through Technology: The Path between Engineering and Philosophy, 1994）。他是美国“哲学与技术学会”（Society for Philosophy and Technology，简称SPT）的首任主席以及学会机关刊物《哲学与技术研究》（Research in Philosophy and Technology）的主编。
